Technical data
- Device type, browser, IP address, approximate location, language, and pages visited.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage.
2. How we use your data
- To create and manage your account and verify your business identity.
- To display your listings and connect you with relevant counterparties.
- To deliver messaging, notifications, contact unlocks, subscriptions, and payments.
- To generate AI-powered market insights, price benchmarks, and trade matches.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or breaches of our Terms.
- To comply with legal obligations including tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, and sanctions screening.
- To improve the platform and develop new features.
3. Legal bases (for users in the EU/UK)
We process personal data on the bases of (a) contract — to provide the services you sign up for, (b) legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the platform, (c) legal obligation — to comply with regulators, and (d) consent — for optional marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Sharing your data
- Other users. Your business name, country, listings, and ratings are visible to other verified users. Your direct contact details are revealed only after a paid contact unlock.
- Service providers. Hosting (cloud infrastructure), payments (Paystack), email delivery, analytics, customer support, and AI providers — under written agreements limiting their use of your data to the services they perform for us.
- Authorities. When required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Successors. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under equivalent protections.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
KADI operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required by law.
6. Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements (typically up to 7 years for transaction records). You can request deletion of your account at any time, subject to these legal retention rules.
7. Your rights
- Access, correct, or download your personal data.
- Request deletion or restriction of processing.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, email info@kadixchange.com.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, secure authentication, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, plus optional analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
